Trades we supply
Dryliners
Metal stud partitions, boarding, taping and jointing and suspended ceilings on fit out, commercial and residential projects.
What a good one looks like
Boarders and tapers are different people and clients routinely order one expecting both. A good boarder sets stud plumb and true so the taper is not filling out somebody else’s mistakes, which is where a level five finish quietly turns into a level three.
It is also where the pay rate earns its keep. Good people have a choice of sites, so the rate you set decides who is willing to take the job. We show you that rate and add £25, which means you can raise it without our margin moving with it.
How our pricing worksCards and tickets
- CSCS card
- NVQ Level 2 in interior systems or drylining
- PASMA for tower access
- Own tools
What moves the rate
- Whether boarding, taping or both are required
- Finish level specified
- Fire rated or acoustic systems
- Ceiling heights and access
We do not publish a rate table. Pay moves with the trade, the season and the location, so any figure printed here would be wrong within a month. Ring and we will tell you what the job is genuinely paying today.
